Something about Andy Warhol
維基百科的一段話，似乎就已經直接點出 Andy Warhol 與普普藝術的關係及其超越其他同儕之處： Andy Warhol is probably the most famous figure in Pop Art, in fact, art critic Arthur Danto once called Warhol "the nearest thing to a philosophical genius the history of art has produced" Warhol attempted to take Pop beyond an artistic style to a life style, and his work often displays a lack of human affectation that dispenses with the irony and parody of many of his peers. 對我來說，更值得一提的是 Andy Warhol 還跨足到搖滾樂的領域，他曾經慧眼識英雄擔任 The Velvet Underground 的經理，同時找來女歌手 Nico 強力行銷並使他們一夕成名，1967 年發行的首張專輯名列滾石雜誌 500 Greatest Albums of All Time 第 13 名，更重要的是由他本人親自設計的專輯封面已經成為經典。
所謂的 Parody 所帶來的樂趣，或許就是這些讓我們心領神會的模仿吧！ |
