Chapter IV Vīthisaṅgahavibhāgo(心路過程之概要)
4.2 列舉類別
4.2.1 六個六
Cha vatthūni, cha dvārāni, cha ālambanāni, cha viññāṇāni, cha vīthiyo, chadhā visayappavatti cā ti vīthisaṅgahe cha chakkāni veditabbāni. Vīthimuttānaṃ pana kamma-kammanimitta-gatinimitta-vasena tividhā hoti visayappavatti. Tattha vatthu-dvārālambanāni pubbe vuttanayen' eva.
In the compendium of thought-processes six kinds of six classes each should be understood — namely, i. six bases, ii. six doors, iii. six objects, iv. sixfold consciousness, v. six processes, and vi. sixfold presentation of objects.
The presentation of objects to the process-freed consciousness is threefold, namely, Kamma, Kamma sign, and Destiny sign.
The bases, doors, and objects, therein, are as described before.
於心路過程之概要,當知各有六支的六組: 一、六依處; 二、六門; 三、六所緣; 四、六識; 五、六種心路過程; 六、所緣的六種呈現方式。 所緣對離心路過程心的呈現方式有三種,即:業、業相與趣相。 其中的依處、門及所緣則如前(一章)所述。

4.2.2 六識
Cakkhuviññāṇaṃ, sotaviññāṇaṃ, ghānaviññāṇaṃ, jivhā-viññāṇaṃ, kāyaviññāṇaṃ, manoviññāṇañ cā ti cha viññāṇāni.
The sixfold types of consciousness are eye-consciousness, ear-consciousness, nose-consciousness, tongue-consciousness, body-consciousness, and mind-consciousness.
這六識是:眼識、耳識、鼻識、舌識、身識與意識。

4.2.3 六種心路過程
Cha vīthiyo pana cakkhudvāravīthi, sotadvāravīthi, ghānadvāravīthi, jivhādvāravīthi, kāyadvāravīthi, manodvāravīthi cā ti dvāravasena vā cakkhuviññāṇavīthi, sotaviññāṇavīthi, ghānaviññāṇavīthi, jivhāviññāṇavīthi, kāyaviññāṇavīthi, manoviññāṇavīthi cā ti viññāṇavasena vā dvārappavattā cittappavattiyo yojetabbā.
According to the doors the thought-processes are: 1. The process connected with the eye-door, 2. The process connected with the ear-door, 3. The process connected with the nose-door, 4. The process connected with the tongue-door, 5. The process connected with the body-door, and 6. The process connected with the mind-door.
Or, according to consciousness the thought-processes are: 1. The process connected with the eye-consciousness, 2. The process connected with the ear-consciousness, 3. The process connected with the nose-consciousness, 4. The process connected with the tongue-consciousness, 5. The process connected with the body-consciousness, and 6. The process connected with the mind-consciousness. The thought procedure (cognitive processes) connected with the doors should thus be coordinated (with the corresponding consciousness).
依門而分的六種心路過程是: 一、與眼門相關的心路過程; 二、與耳門相關的心路過程; 三、與鼻門相關的心路過程; 四、與舌門相關的心路過程; 五、與身門相關的心路過程; 六、與意門相關的心路過程。
或者,依識而分的六種心路過程是: 一、與眼識相關的心路過程; 二、與耳識相關的心路過程; 三、與鼻識相關的心路過程; 四、與舌識相關的心路過程; 五、與身識相關的心路過程; 六、與意識相關的心路過程。 依門的心路過程應與依識的(相符心路過程)配合。

4.2.4 所緣的六種呈現方式
Atimahantaṃ mahantaṃ parittaṃ atiparittañ cā ti pañcadvāre, manodvāre pana vibhūtam avibhūtañ cā ti chadhā visayappavatti veditabbā.
The sixfold presentation of objects should be understood as follows: a. At the five sense-doors, it is: (i) ‘very great’, (ii) ‘great’, (iii) ‘slight’, (iv) ‘very slight’. b. At the mind-door, it is: (v) ‘clear’ and (vi) ‘obscure’.
當知所緣境的六種呈現方式是: 一、於五根門,它是極大、大、微細、極微細。 二、於意門,它是清晰及不清晰。
