英譯羅大岡詩〈無法投遞〉

強迫學生背詩、譯詩，不覺手癢，無聊加入戲作。

羅大岡（1909 – 1998）的詩文風格質樸，乍看淡逸，細細吟詠玩味，自有一股蘊藉風流。摯友評其詩曰：「學生氣太重。」聞之莞爾。

沒有名號的街道

唉 正小病初愈

牆是獨白

窗是對語

下雨的晴天的漫遊

破皮鞋補了又補

一到夜深如海

細數鄰人的腳步

Where the streets have no names,

Alas, just getting over an ailment,

The wall being monologue,

And the window dialogue,

On many a rainy day and sunny day I saunter,

With my ragged shoes cobbled over and over.

When night falls as deep as the ocean,

I, attentively, count the footsteps of neighbors.
