3.2 受之概要(Vedanā-Saṅgaho)
3.2.1 受之分析
Tattha vedanāsaṅgahe tāva tividhā vedanā: sukhā, dukkhā, adukkhamasukhā cā ti. Sukhaṃ, dukkhaṃ, somanassaṃ, domanassaṃ, upekkhā ti ca bhedena pana pañcadhā hoti.
In the summary of feeling there are at first three kinds: — pleasurable, painful, and that which is neither pleasurable nor painful. Or, again, it is fivefold — namely, happiness, pain, pleasure, displeasure, and indifference or equanimity.
於受之概要,首先,受有三種,即:苦、樂、不苦不樂。另者,受亦可分別為五種:樂、苦、悅、憂、捨。

3.2.2 依心分類
Tattha sukhasahagataṃ kusalavipākaṃ kāyaviññāṇaṃ ekam eva. Tathā dukkhasahagataṃ akusalavipākaṃ kāyaviññāṇaṃ. Somanassasahagata-cittāni pana lobhamūlāni cattāri, dvādasa kāmāvacarasobhanāni, sukhasantīraṇa-hasanāni ca dve ti aṭṭhārasa kāmāvacaracittāni c' eva paṭhama-dutiya-tatiya-catutthajjhāna-saṅkhātāni catucattāḷīsa mahaggata-lokuttaracittāni cā ti dvāsaṭṭhividhāni bhavanti. Domanassasahagata-cittāni pana dve paṭighasampayuttacittān' eva. Sesāni sabbāni pi pañcapaññāsa upekkhāsahagata-cittān' evā ti.
Of them, moral resultant body-consciousness is the only one accompanied by happiness.
Similarly immoral resultant body-consciousness is the only one accompanied by pain.
There are sixty-two kinds of consciousness accompanied by pleasure — namely: (a) the eighteen types of Sense-Sphere consciousness, such as four rooted in attachment, twelve types of Sense-Sphere Beautiful consciousness, the two types of investigating and smiling consciousness, (b) forty-four types of Sublime and Supramundane consciousness pertaining to the first, second, third, and fourth Jhānas. (12 + 32)
Only the two types of consciousness connected with aversion are accompanied by displeasure.
All the remaining fifty-five types of consciousness are accompanied by indifference or equanimity.
在它們當中,善果報身識是唯一樂俱(之心)。 同樣地,不善果報身識是唯一苦俱(之心)。 有六十二種心是悅俱,即:(一)十八種欲界心:四貪根心、十二欲界美心、及兩個無因心,即悅俱推度心與生笑心;(二)四十四種屬於初、第二、第三、第四禪的廣大與出世間心。(12 + 32) 只有兩種與瞋恚相應的心是憂俱。 其餘五十五種心是捨俱。

3.2.3 總結
Sukhaṃ dukkhaṃ upekkhā ti tividhā tattha vedanā Somanassaṃ domanassam iti bhedena pañcadhā. Sukham ekattha dukkhañ ca domanassaṃ dvaye ṭhitaṃ Dvāsaṭṭhīsu somanassaṃ pañcapaṇṇāsake' tarā.
Feeling, therein, is threefold — namely, happiness, pain, and indifference. Together with pleasure and displeasure it is fivefold.
Happiness and pain are found in one, displeasure in two, pleasure in sixty-two, and the remaining (indifference or equanimity) in fifty-five.
受可分三種,樂及苦與捨。 加上悅與憂,則成五種受。 樂苦各於一,憂則於二心, 悅有六十二,其餘五十五。
