Is it common with some men or just Hubby? I would call it Little Man Syndrome -- a little man with HUGE BUT FRAGILE ego.

Men high risk of LMS ...Let's see, physically he can not be too tall to begin with. I'd say (men) under 5'8" have the HIGHEST risk. They are up to the AVERAGE but not enough when a normal size woman wears 3 inch stilletoes. 

But it is NOT MY FAULT that he is not tall enough. He was born SHORT. Matter of fact, the whole damn family is SHORT. Who says that Italian men are TALL, DARK AND HANDSOME? Well, it may be true when they are in their 20's, but look at De Vitto, De Niro and whats his name...Pacino, NONE of them is TALL. Travolta may be exceptional. But I bet he is only half Italian.

So what happens to the mentality of the short man (especially in front of a BIG, TALL and BEAUTIFUL woman)? He OVER-COMPENSATES in EVERY area you can think of.

"Did you check with so-and-so for....?" " Don't worry about it. I KNOW...."

"Did you ask so-and-so if we need....?" "He does not know half the things I KNOW...."

"Are you sure ....." "WHY DON'T YOU TRUST ME?"

"I like Chinese food." "I like Chinese food MORE."

"I have been to Hell." "I have been to Hell 5 TIMES."

"Who do you think you are!" "I'm GOD."

Men of LMS can NOT take criticism AT ALL. They think they are ALL THAT. They think they are the answer or have the answer to ALL the problems of the WHOLE DAMN WORLD. They are EXTREMELY defensive and sensitive with questions, comments or criticism to the point that they would look like they are PSYCHOTIC. They do NOT think that they are only human, who eat and shit just like the rest of the world. However, they STRONGLY demand TOTAL surrender and HIGHEST respect from you. Their favorite motto --HIS WAY or NO WAY.

But how about highway, Little Man?
