Alone time To live alone should be part of our daily lives. People usually fear loneliness, but once endured, one feels comfortable. Under pressure, the spring of life becomes dry from affairs and noise. Only the tranquility of solitude can refill it. A little time alone, staring at the sky, reflecting into the water, relaxing, is the first step towards health. Apart from nutritious diets, abundant rest, one also needs moments of quiet removal. One would make time for work, affairs and family but rarely for isolation. Even if nobody will give one space, one must strive for it. One should make time for oneself. At such times, one can reflect, uncover talents, instincts and imagination. Separate the goals of others from one's own. Think not too much of their affairs and secure some time for oneself. Distance oneself from noise and interruption; only then will one have sufficient space. People have long since grown used to fixed lifestyles. To disguise, to feint, to squeeze out smiles, even to suppress emotions so to maintain relationships. When such actions become unnecessary, one may become happier. Make solitude a compulsory study, a duty to oneself. Do not resist living alone; once accustomed to it,
one can truly enjoy its benefits and nourishing.
