故鄉有我童年的足印

    幾度山花開   幾度楓葉紅

Mountains of home    reivers of home

There lies footprints of my childhood

How the mountain bloomed,countless times the maple turned red 

 Innocent joys yet remains

Other mountains and waters are too equal

 But they hold not a hold that loves home

The earth of home   the folks of home 

There in lingers charm of my youth

Many times storms gathered many times petals flew

Youthful dreams still remembered

Foreign soil may be fertile  the folks friendly

But they hold not my heart which yearns for home

The love of home  the feel of home

There are my beloved folks

Many times the clock sounds,  the strings sang

The soothing sound forever locked at heart

Strang countries too have love and a unique taste

But they hold not my heart which yearns for home
