Troubles
As a child, we knew no trouble.
As one grows however, so to does our anxiety.
In times of dismay, we mutter to ourselves.
Fortune only surrounded others,
and we're forever hounded by problems.
In truth, trouble does not find us,
but rather,we make trouble.
It is our inability to ignore it that enslaves us.
Some matters may have us troubled; however,
it is not because the matter is in itself troublesome.
It all lies in how we treat it.
Anxiety is a project; thus the saying that
"the devil comes from within".
It makes us afraid, and thus we fight it.
But the more we struggle, the deeper we suffer.
Unless we change our attitude,
we will forever find trouble for our hands.
We should aim to simplify matters
down to the very core.
The wise is forever free and thorough;
the fool is always met with obstacles.
The sage is free, thus the mind is free;
the fool is employed, thus occupied.
The world is a peaceful place
where the mundane stirs trouble.
Once this becomes clear, we can decrease,
or be free of trouble.
