股票的英文除了用stock表達之外，也可用share，如下例:

週三上午多數當地的電子廠商的股價都下跌。 

而反映股市行情高低起伏的是股價指數stock market index，全球常見的股價指數包括:

Dow Jones industrial average: 道瓊工業指數 (美國)

例句如下:
