美國流行歌手，搖滾詩人，影響無數詞曲創作者，更為幾代年輕心靈注入反叛精神與淑世情懷的一代民謠宗師，巴布狄倫（Bob Dylan），榮獲2016年諾貝爾文學獎桂冠！

反戰，爭人權，關注弱勢與受苦族群，並為沉溺於發展與飛騰的國度，帶來一面面自我映照之鏡，當然也反思個人生命內涵與愛的意義，這是巴布狄倫的創作主軸，永遠充滿社會意識、哲學深度與詩的美感。巴布狄倫的歌，當然是詞意為重，但他的作曲才華也相當驚人，總在木吉他與口琴簡單伴奏之下，在唇舌滾動，唸著一長串宛如符咒的歌詞之後，迸出幾句容易琅琅上口的旋律。

巴布狄倫的作品又多又好，他出道超過五十年，出版三十多張錄音室專輯，每一張專輯，甚至每一首歌都值得細聽，一聽再聽，查字典好好讀過歌詞。只是他相當注重版權，網路上要找到他的歌曲影片並不容易。

巴布狄倫獲得諾貝爾文學獎，眾人意外，其實他已入圍好幾年，在賭盤上也排入前十名，並非全無呼聲。當然他的獲獎勢必引來一些討論——他的歌詞，跟其他諾貝爾獎詩人的詩作，能夠相提並論嗎？

他的語言或許不是最好，但他反應時代精神的廣度與深度，置諸被美國國力與文化主導的當代世界，最是切題與豐富。

巴布狄倫最有名的歌是這首〈飄盪在風中〉（Blowin in the Wind），應該編入台灣的國文課本。
