On the first day, the bunny went fishing but she could not get anything.  So couldn’t she on the second day.  On day three, as she just arrived, a fish jumped out of the river and yelled at her, "If you dare use carrot as bait again, I will beat you up to death!"
Read between lines: You give what you "think" others want, but not what they really want.  The thing you give away is not worth a penny if it is only out of your own imaginary.
In a banquet, Mark Twain sat opposite to a lady.  For courtesy he said to the lady, "You are gorgeous!"  With ungrateful attitude and arrogant tune, the lady replied to him, "It is a shame that I cannot praise you with similar expressions."  Putting it mildly and peacefully, Mark Twain said, "No problem, Ma’am, all you need to do is telling a white lie like mine."  Lower her head down was that deflated and embarrassed lady.

Read between lines:  The rocks you threw might always stumble nobody but you.

A friend of mine is an oncologist doctor who once conducted a cancer surgery.  When he cut off the patient’s body, he found it had been too late to remove the tumor, so he had to sew the cut up again.  Then he explained the situation to patient, a man from rural village, who was unable to understand those medical terms and believed that after the operation he must have been cured.  So, the reluctant doctor released the patient.  A year later, the patient came back for a follow-up appointment and found he was really cured.  All the malignant cells were gone!

Read between lines:  The best surgery belongs to an optimistic mind.

Time was when he was sitting in a coffee shop and waiting for his friend, a girl proceeded toward him.  She asked him if he was the one whom Auntie Wang arranged for a blind date.  He raised his head and swept a gaze on her.  She was exactly the type of the girl he liked, so why not pretended himself as he was, he thought.  Then he hastened to answer, "Yes, please take a seat."  On the day they married, he made a candid confession that he was not to meet a blind date that day.  The bride smiled, "Me neither, I was just to seek an excuse to have a chat with you."

Read between lines: When serendipity comes, don’t hesitate to grasp it.

A beauty contest was held among girl students by open voting, in which plain-faced Mei delivered a speech to troll for vote.  She said if she was elected as the champ, after several years you guys could tell your husband with pride that when you were in college you were prettier than the winner of the class beauty contest.  The result?  Mei won the title with all votes!
Read between lines: To persuade others to support you, you dont have to demonstrate you are more brilliant than others; instead, you had better let others know that because of you they will become smarter and have more sense of achievement.

There are two tigers: one in cage and the other in the wild.  Both think they are living in adverse circumstances, and they envy with each other.  So, they decide to exchange their role to play.  At the beginning, they feel happy about their new lives.  But before long, the two tigers are all dead.  One dies of hunger, while the other dies of melancholia.

Read between lines: Sometime people would be blind to what they already have had, but always think the grass is greener on the other side.
