正在岸邊輕聲細語的是什麼水聲
是深洋中的海豚傳來縈繞人心的旋律
總在笑著  因為他們明白
陸地所無法捉摸到的深藍真理

正在岸邊輕聲細語的是什麼水聲
是在訴說朋友最終還是會回到朋友身邊
一如太陽向西沉落  所有的生命終歸於水
最深的地方也是最好的地方

正在岸邊輕聲細語的是什麼水聲
是星球之歌的節奏
在此岸與彼岸間打著節拍
穿梭在畫在沙裏的一道原因線上

正在岸邊輕聲細語的是什麼水聲
說給翠鳥也說給烏鴉的音籟
我們大家都該調配著聽
只因水是陸地的見證

而我仍不明白
正在岸邊輕聲細語的是什麼水聲

What water whispers upon the shore
Is the haunting melody of deep-sea dolphins
Laughing all the time knowing
Deep blue truths that the land cannot fathom

What water whispers upon the shore
Is that friends always return to friends
As the sun to the west; all of life to the water;
Where it is deepest, it is best

What water whispers upon the shore
Is the rhythm of the planet’s song
From shore to rhythm to shore
Crossing the line of reason drawn in the sand

What water whispers upon the shore
To kingfishers and the crow
The sounds to which we all must tune
For water is witness to land

And I do not know
What water whispers upon the shore
