Different World

Dear BKDB,

I admire you, being a female, you have the courage to travel to that part of the world that is strange to most of us, and you have the ability to associate with the people there.  It must be a very interesting as well as challenging experience.  there is such a saying as follows:

"Hatred comes from fear

fear comes from misunderstanding

misunderstanding comes from lacking of contacts"

With your contacts with Indian people so many times; I believe you must have reduced your misunderstanding about these people and helped us do the same.  One thing that bothers me:  Indian people may be peace-loving; but their goverment or leaders are aggressive, they never stop stealing more land from China-India border, such as McMahon Line and 大吉領 areas and Indian/Pakistan borders.

Dear TXK

I thank you for your long and insightful comment for my humble article. India is indeed a very different country than the ones our concept and perception are used to. This is one of the reasons I love to travel in india to learn how to break our normal concept and senses how things or the world should fit in...and being a female, is not more dangerous than being a male, if a female is not against other male beings or counterwise. Your quote is a super one: "Hatred comes from fear fear comes from misunderstanding misunderstanding comes from lacking of contacts" Misunderstanding comes from lacking of contacts and weakness in seeing the reality/truth...(if I may add)...and so on and so on... The political ambition or misuse of power you mentioned here is NOT the whole reality of a country or its people. And it's a difficult topic on which my article did not intend to touch at all...
