作者崔西史密斯（如附圖），是剛出爐熱騰騰的 2012 年普立茲詩獎得主，以詩集《火星上的生活》（Life on Mars）獲獎。

她生於1972年，目前在普林斯頓大學教授創作。父親曾在哈伯太空望遠鏡上工作，啟發了她創作靈感。

普立茲詩獎是美國最重要的詩獎之一，每年頒給一位美國籍詩人。

這首詩來自《火星上的生活》，充滿未來感，並反思當代美國科技發展。

There will be no edges, but curves.
Clean lines pointing only forward.

將無邊緣，只有弧線。
