1.  “我愛你”三個字，講出來只要三秒鐘，解釋要三小時，證明卻要一輩子。

It takes only three seconds to say "I love you", three hours to explain it, your whole life to prove it.   

2. 你做了一件錯事，就很難再讓人記起你曾經的好。

Once you did something wrong, you would probably let others forget what you had done right. 

3.花時間解釋，還不如花時間證明它。

You'd rather prove something than explain it

4.被真相傷害，總比被謊言安慰要好。

You'd better be hurt by truth than be consoled by lies. 

5.少問別人為什麼？多問自己憑什麼？

Ask less explanation from others; ask yourself more what you've got. 

6. 人和人太熟，就知道刀子往哪裡捅最痛。

"Familiarity breeds contempt", then you'll realize what is the most painful thing you'll receive. 

7.人生四然：來是偶然，去是必然，盡其當然，順其自然。

There are four "-tys" of a life: by fortuity you come; by certainty you leave; make a virtue of necessity; meet your encounters with serendipity.

8.你把別人看成天使，你就生活在天堂裡；把別人看成魔鬼，你就生活在地獄裡。

Life is heaven when you regard others as angels; whereas, life is hell when you regard others as devels. 

9. 我不問，你不說，這就是距離；我問了，你不說，這就是隔閡；我問了，你說了，這就是信任；你不說，我不問，這就是默契；我不問，你說了，這就是依賴！

Distance means you won't say while I don't ask; barrier means you won't answer the question I've ask; trust means you'll answer the question I've asked; tacit agreement means you don't have to say anything while I don't ask; reliance means you always say to me the things I've never asked!

10.人生首先要是－望遠鏡，看遠；再就是－顯微鏡，看細；接下來是－放大鏡，看透；其次是－太陽鏡，看淡；最後是－哈哈鏡！

Life is likened to various lens: first of all, we need a telescope to see further, then a microscope to see precisely, then a magnifier to see clearly, and then a pair of sunglasses to see dimly, then at last a distorting mirror, ha, ha!
