少年聽雨歌樓上。紅燭昏羅帳。  

I remember hearing about raindrops falling on the hall of song and dance in dim candlelight behind the boudoir net when I was younger.

壯年聽雨客舟中。江闊雲低、斷雁叫西風。

When I was a grown-up, I listened to the rain in the boat on a journey where the river was wide and clouds were low, and a stray goose wailed amid the west wind.

而今聽雨僧廬下。鬢已星星也。悲歡離合總無情。

Now that I am an old man, I listen to the rain beneath a temple.  Gray hairs had crept onto my sideburns,  witnessing the vicissitudes of joys and sorrows.          

一任階前、點滴到天明。

Just let the raindrops fall on the porch steps till dawn.
