These days a video went viral in LINE, and I have got it four times from different individuals and groups.  (I am sorry I don’t know how to migrate it here.)  The video narrates two well-known verses of an unaccomplished poem, as attached below. 

It is said the author of the verses was one of the subordinates to Mr. Fan Zhongyen(范仲淹), a great writer, poet, and politician of Song Dynasty.  But the author, though being competent as others, did not work directly under Mr. Fan.  So, he did not acquire good impression from Mr. Fan and failed to get the promotion he should have had.  One day, the author took an opportunity to hint Mr. Fan by writing subject verses, and he got promoted. 

Regretfully, throughout his life the author had not completed the poem, and had not written any other poems, either.    

近水樓台先得月，  Waterfront balconies meet the moon earlier.  

向陽花木易為春      Plants on sunny side sprout easier.
