My daughter-in-law needs postnatal care right now. When my wife mailed a set of Chinese traditional prescription for food and soup to her last month, I wondered if she, a white woman, would accept the concept of this Chinese regimen. To my surprise, she accepted it with alacrity.
I do not have preference toward such a prescription, but I believe it must have something helpful to the women who are within the first month of delivery. Anyway, she needs healthy and nutritious food, adaquat rest, and reasonable exercise to reocover from the hardship of carrying and delivering my granddaughter.
