每到暑假，就是同學們可以暫時放下課業的休閒時光，有人或安排旅行，或參加夏令營充實自己，學習新知識。在康橋，有一群學生選擇了不一樣的方式來度過漫漫暑假，有人揹起行囊前進偏鄉陪伴當地的孩子，除了當起小老師來教導課業之外，更用音樂、童軍各種互動遊戲給予他們最溫暖的關懷。也有人選擇自己前往安養院、教養院等地方進行志工服務，今年，就讀12年級的陳柔安也利用自己的暑假時間，前往花蓮擔任志工，讓我們一起來看看她的心得感想吧！

　　這是一趟不同以往的旅程，當走進這棟建築物，7樓時，就好像走進另一個我完全不認識的世界，這裡的噪音讓人有點緊張，溫度使人出汗。尤其當來到我要照顧院生的地方時，我來到了一個完全陌生的環境，與過去到過的地方、見過的人都不同，這些院生，他們無法言語，也不太認識文字，我們只能盡全力幫助這些需要幫助的人們，而恰逢颱風來襲，我們也同時為他們做了防颱準備。這次的志工服務，讓我了解原來自己有幸福的家庭、健康的身體是多們幸運的一件事情，我們應該停止抱怨或是要求更多，因為我們已經擁有了很多，除了學會珍惜，我們還要用更積極的態度去面對未來的挑戰。

　It was as if I had not knew the world that I lived in. The building was unfamiliar and quite as we walked up to the 7th floor. The noises made me a bit nervous. The temperature made me sweat. I ran through my head of the memory when Mom and Dad took me to a place that took care of people with disabilities and thought everything would be the same. However, unlike the place where Ive been, these people could not communicate or only knew a few words. We helped with cleaning and did preparation for the typhoon. We did not really get to know the people there, but some sat beside us as company. It was then when I knew how blessed I am, how fortunate to be born with arms and legs, how lucky to have a brain that functions well enough. So why do I keep asking for more or be ungrateful for what I have? Why do I complain when I should be thankful for what I have? Coming to this place made me realize that I should give out more to the world when I have the ability to do so; I should keep a positive attitude toward everything.
