遊輪爲了迎合不同遊客的興趣和需求，一直在挖空心思設計吸引不同族群的節目，包括與行程文化風俗有關的演講，舞蹈和表演等。

常聼有人説 SEA DAY不靠岸下船玩的日子一定很無聊，其實船上有很多活動，只是看你有沒有興趣，願不願意參加而已？像這次從洛杉磯出發到夏威夷的遊輪上，每天有2場介紹夏威夷生態，火山，鯨魚，文化，語言等有關夏威夷話題的演講，達文西名畫詳解，夏威夷舞蹈練習，四弦琴 （Ukuelele) 教學，合唱團練習，獨唱卡拉OK選拔賽，還有串蘭花花圈，作椰子殼項鏈等等。

如果對新事物有足夠的好奇心，真的可以學到不少東西。

在船上15天，除了下船那幾天課取消外，我和二姐很有恆心的每天下午都去上夏威夷舞蹈課.

下船倒數第二天的下午，我們和四弦琴班在正式的戲院舞臺上表演十天來的練習成果。雖然每天只有練習45分鐘，時間不長，數十人在臺上動作不很整齊，但每個人穿上自己帶有夏威夷風情的服裝，加上歌曲動聽，倒也不太離譜。

我回來芝加哥后，仍覺餘音繚繞，腦子裏儘是那些旋律和動作，常不自覺地擺動起來。

老美文化跟東方很不同，表演的前幾天，有人問老師，是否需要按照高矮排？她説，她的經驗是如果由老師來排，可能有人會有意見，有些人如果想站前面，可能會認爲按照高矮是歧視身高高的人，所以老師不如順其自然，在表演前一天會在正式舞臺彩排，彩排時，你自己選擇站在那裏，第二天表演時就不能再改變了。

我彩排時隨便站，把好位置讓給別人，自己站成第三排， 不過正式表演時，爲了讓幫忙錄影的朋友拍的到我，我盡量站在前面兩人的中間，看了錄影帶，倒也見到不少鏡頭，可以留作留念。
