詩歌走上革命之路了。現代人以詩歌對抗財團操控的物質生活和富豪參選的政治文化。人性已過度被工業化的生產鏈所禁錮、被帝國主義肆掠後的貧窮給奴役。正義之火夢。愛之火夢。
詩歌革命是對全人類身心靈陷入囹圄狀態之痛批。和平之火夢。地球之火夢。
此革命旨在向綁架和制約我們的體制提出挑戰。靈魂之火夢。宇宙之火夢。
詩歌革命鼓勵創造性的讀寫。它企圖點燃一整個詩歌世代的火花，使人們逃出被電視文化麻木之陷阱。年輕世代應受革命鼓舞而致力追求一個真誠、永續的世界。詩歌之火夢。
詩歌本質上是要超越娛樂文化的崇拜並挑戰詩歌自身的八股。詩歌擁有喚醒、撼動和點燃心靈的實力。爵士之火夢。

按：長年旅居泰國的美國詩人湯姆·阿慈言答（Tom Radzienda），目前在清邁從事靈氣導師的身心靈工作。筆者擁有作者所有詩集之中文翻譯授權。本詩譯自其2005年出版的「火夢集」（Fire Dreams)，詩人以一首散文詩的形式作為詩集之引言。

停很久沒怎麼專注在文字與翻譯工作上，重新開工感覺挺吃力的。為求中文風格之統一，有很多地方沒有逐字遵從原作。如果有重大誤解和疏失，還請各方英文高手不吝指教。順藉翻譯來暖身一下，希望新的一年在創作上能突破瓶頸，感謝朋友的支持與鼓勵。因為時間關係，以後的貼文盡量從簡，不再附上音樂欣賞了，敬請見諒~~
Fire Dreams
The poetry revolution is under way. Poetry is revolting against corporate materialism and electoral plutocracy that dominate our modern lives. Too much of humanity is imprisoned by industrial chains of production, or enslaved by imperialist poverty. Fire Dreams of justice. Fire Dreams of love.
The poetry revolution is a fiery criticism of the jailers who imprison the bodies, minds and souls of global humanity. Fire Dreams of peace. Fire Dreams of earth.
This revolution aims to liberate us from menial, trivial consensus and to challenge the system that captures and indoctrinates us. Fire Dreams of soul. Fire Dreams of universe.
The poetry revolution encourages creative literacy. It intends to spark a poetry generation to climb out of television stupor and pursue a genuine, sustainable world. Fire Dreams of poetry.
