Migration to Bangkok
Urban Epitaph, Part One
Life is a stranger who lived in the past
Migrating from the green umbrella of the countryside
To the tempting towers of Bangkok
He has no room to breathe
Theres nothing left of the air
He inhales the dusty carbon of urban culture
He hopes the rain will bring new memories
Days and nights become weeks and months
As gentle rains fill his dreams,
“The morning showers that I hear
Cease to amuse
Cease to befriend
For I cannot reap
The tender ephemeral elegance
Which softens the world”
