羅馬假期Roman Holiday (1953)

最近看了一部不錯看的愛情喜劇「愛狗男人請來電」，黛安蓮恩和約翰庫薩克在戲裡都很愛看「齊瓦哥醫生」，可以一看再看，百看不厭，我可以了解那種感受，因為「羅馬假期」就是讓我可以一再重看的電影。

今天推薦的其他愛情片，男女主角結局都在一起，唯獨「羅馬假期」不一樣，葛雷哥萊畢克演的記者Joe Bradley，最後離開記者會場時，公主安畢竟是公主，不可能跑出來和他在一起的，那一段走向無言結局的路，讓這部電影餘韻無窮。

■邂逅第一天

種種趣味問答，道盡公主與凡人間的階級差別。

吃了安眠藥神智不清的公主安，走進喬的房間時，竟然問「這是電梯嗎？」

Princess Ann: Is this the elevator?

Joe Bradley: This is my ROOM!

公主向記者要絲質睡袍來穿，記者答，幾百年沒穿睡袍了，最後他拿睡衣給公主穿，已經厭倦睡袍的公主高興得不得了。

Princess Ann: Do you have a silk nightgown with rosebuds?

Joe Bradley: I haven't worn a nightgown in years!

■公主與記者吻別

Princess Ann: I have to leave you now. I'm going to that corner there and turn. You must stay in the car and drive away. Promise not to watch me go beyond the corner. Just drive away and leave me as I leave you.

Joe Bradley: All right.

Princess Ann: I don't know how to say goodbye. I can't think of any words.

Joe Bradley: Don't try.

(They kissed.)

二見鍾情While You Were Sleeping (1995)

Lucy救了她暗戀許久的Peter，在Peter昏迷期間，Lucy被Peter家人當成Peter的未婚妻，沒想到Peter的弟弟Jack喜歡上Lucy，Lucy也發覺自己竟然愛上Jack。Peter問Lucy，妳是什麼時候愛上Jack的？Lucy回答：While you were sleeping.

珊卓布拉克和比爾普曼之間，女的外放，男的羞澀，是很有意思的組合。我很喜歡比爾普曼，所以一直很喜歡這部電影，曾在坎城影展採訪過他，私底下他就和銀幕上一樣，有一股迷人的羞澀，是個很nice的明星，記得當時我對著他猛拍照，（對不起普曼先生，我真的很沒禮貌），但他沒有說什麼，「默默承受」，我想如果是其他大明星，恐怕早就不爽，或經紀人早就出面阻止了。

■Leaning比Hugging還強烈

Jack看到Lucy的鄰居Joe Jr.靠向Lucy，他說Hugging（擁抱）「只是」手臂和手，Leaning卻是整個身體靠過去，Leaning有渴求和接受的意思。

這段挺有意思，「靠著」竟然比「擁抱」還強烈，拗得很有趣。

Lucy: [to Jack] Okay, um. What do you mean by the leaning thing? You mean because he gave me flowers?

Jack: And then you *leaned*

Lucy: And then I leaned.

Jack: Yeah.

Lucy: Okay, how did I lean when I leaned?

Jack: It was a lot different from hugging. Hugging's very different. Hugging that involves arms and hands; and leaning is whole bodies moving in like this

[leans toward her suggestively]

Jack: . Leaning involves *wanting*... and *accepting*. *Leaning*...

Joe Jr.: Hey Luce! Is this guy bothering you?

Lucy: [Laughs] No, no.

Joe Jr.: Are you sure? Because it looks like he's *leaning.*

■婚禮有一堆人喊「反對」

新娘先叫「反對」，新郎的弟弟也喊反對，牧師很幽默的問新郎：「那你呢？」新郎很無辜的說「我正在想」…接著新郎的已婚女友也跑來喊反對，牧師叫她「排隊吧！」

Priest: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here to...

Lucy: I object.

Saul: Oh, geez.

Priest: I didn't get to that part yet.

Jack: I would have to object too.

Priest: What about you?

Peter: I'm thinking!

■傑克向露西求婚

一般人對於情人說「我愛你」，通常回說「I love you,too.」，但傑克說的是「I love you back.」，我一直很喜歡這句，back比too更有行動力，感覺更強烈呢。

Jack: [Lucy's sitting in the booth at the station taking tokens for the train. Suddenly someone drops a ring, making her look up] Lucy? I have to ask you a question.

Elsie: Get down on one knee, it's more romantic.

Saul: Elsie, if he's proposing let him do it!

Elsie: I *am* letting him do it.

Jack: Can I come in there please?

Lucy: I can't. Not without a token.

Jack: [he hands one in and goes into the booth] Marry me.

Lucy: Yeah. I love you.

Jack: I love you back.

電子情書You've Got Mail (1998)

我覺得湯姆漢克斯一向和梅格萊恩很能製造chemistry，「西雅圖夜未眠」也是不錯看的情人節電影，但純粹以影迷立場來看，他們兩人對手戲太少了，看得不過癮。

「電子情書」就看兩人針鋒相對，你來我往的。從沒有愛情，到愛情萌芽，到Joe Fox對Kathleen Kelly的情濃意切。梅格萊恩真的是愛情喜劇天后，9年前的她依然靈巧年輕漂亮，皺眉、皺鼻子、翹嘴、微笑的模樣，都令人著迷。

■NY152代表什麼

Joe Fox: N-Y-one-five-two. One hundred and fifty-two. He's... 152 years old. He's had 152 moles removed, so now he's got 152 pock marks on his face.

Kathleen Kelly: The number of people who think he looks like Clark Gable.

Joe Fox: 152 people who think he looks like a Clark BAR.

Kathleen Kelly: Why did I ever tell you this?

Joe Fox: 152 stitches from his nose job. The number of his souvenir shot glasses that he's collected in his travels.

Kathleen Kelly: No... the number... His address? No, no. He would never do anything that prosaic.

我喜歡Kathleen Kelly的說法，「152個人認為他長得像克拉克蓋博」

■最後一幕

當Kathleen Kelly知道Joe Fox就是網友NY152，她哭了，是融合很多種情緒的淚水，令我感動得喉頭痠痠的

Joe Fox: Don't cry, Shopgirl. Don't cry.

Kathleen Kelly: I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.

一日鍾情One Fine Day (1996)

我不懂喬治柯隆尼明明很帥，為什麼很少演愛情喜劇，他和蜜雪兒菲佛在這部片裡還滿有感覺的，都演離婚男女、單親爸媽。和兩位小童星之間有精彩的對手戲，所有事都發生在一天之間，值得看一看，浪漫一下，笑一下。

以下兩段台詞都是喬治柯隆尼和蜜雪兒菲佛拌嘴的話，典型的吵來吵去吵出感情。

Melanie: Your Peter Pan complex is so 90s.

Jack: What Peter Pan complex?

Melanie: The one you're so proud of.

Jack: Do you have any friends?

Melanie: I don't have time for friends.

Jack: That's because of your Captain Hook complex.

性 愛情 漢堡包Frankie and Johnny (1991)

這是中文片名取壞了，其實這電影沒有那麼「恐怖」啦。

蜜雪兒菲佛碰上艾爾帕西諾，這組合真是夠堅強的，蜜雪兒菲佛敏感、受傷的模樣，當她說「I'm afraid to be alone, I'm afraid not to be alone.」，真是說到現代寂寞男女的心坎裡。

我最喜歡的是接近結局時，艾爾帕西諾call in廣播電台，不接受點歌的主持人破例放了一首德步西的「月光」，真是太、太、太陶醉了，非常動聽的音樂。

提醒一句，不要錯過納森連恩，他在裡頭演一個同性戀，很搶戲喔。

Johnny: You don't have to be afraid anymore.

Frankie: I am. I'm afraid. I'm afraid to be alone, I'm afraid not to be alone. I'm afraid of what I am, what I'm not, what I might become, what I might never become. I don't want to stay at my job for the rest of my life but I'm afraid to leave. And I'm just tired, you know, I'm just so tired of being afraid.

■艾爾帕西諾賴在蜜雪兒菲佛家裡不肯離去，因為他說「我最想要的，都在這個房間裡。」

Frankie: Why are you doing this?

Johnny: Everything I want is in this room.
