日本課兩岸都該重修

　因釣魚台糾紛，最近中、日同時上演遊行抗議事件。大陸示威者以在校大學生為主，人數多達五萬。面對中日雙方的激烈抗議事件，台灣各界似乎並不熱中，也不關心。這反映出兩岸對日的不同態度，殊值探討。

在近日大陸各地的反日遊行中，販售日貨的西安台資體育用品店美津濃（Mizuno）、台資服裝店湯尼駿士（Tony Jeans）等，被示威者砸爛玻璃門，並將店內衣物拖出焚燒；而成都伊藤洋華堂和伊勢丹兩家日資百貨也分別受到石塊狂砸緊急關店。可見大陸人民的反日情結是很深的。

相對地，台灣人早就忘掉被日本統治過的事了，對於日本的好印象大多停留在日本影歌星和日製用品上，哪管什麼釣魚台不釣魚台的。而台灣人的哈日心態是很明顯的，尤其是年輕一輩的青年學生，最為瘋狂追逐日本的CD、影片、線上遊戲、服飾、書籍、禮品、運動用品、電子3C產品、動漫等日製生活用品。好像身邊缺少這些商品，就是跟不上時代潮流，就是落伍一族。這就是兩岸人民對日問題的不同看法，亦產生在對日商品的不同追逐心態。

面對釣魚台事件，兩岸應深切反省，尤其大陸人民的反日情結未見消退，台灣民眾的事不關己，其實都是過與不及的不正常現象。大陸人民對中日問題過激態度，確實值得進一步反思，究竟應冷靜思考正確的解決途徑，還是繼續對抗下去，而耗損國力和國際形象呢？

而台灣人民是否也該進一步思考，國家大政與主權問題，不只是政府的問題，人民的力量將能推促政府更積極的維護主權的不被侵略。所以，是到了兩岸政府和人民都應該認真思考，如何面對日本問題的時候了！

China and Taiwan should review their attitudes toward Japan conflicting territorial disputes over the Diaoyutai Islands have prompted demonstrations in both China and Japan.

Further, two Taiwanese stores selling Japanese goods in Xian, Shannxi province, were torched by protesters and two Japanese department stores in Chendu, Sichuan Province, were forced to briefly close after demonstrators pelted their buildings with stones.

Both these events are signs of the Chinese people's deep-rooted hostility toward Japan.

The Taiwanese people, on the other hand, are almost apathetic about the disputes, even though its government also lays territorial claims to the same uninhabited islands in the East China Sea.

As a people, Taiwan seems to have forgotten about Japan's colonial rule over the island.

Instead, many seem impressed with Japan and look towards it with favor. Students long for CDs, movies, apparel, computer games, sportswear, and 3C products all made in Japan.

Indeed, they feel ashamed if they don't have the latest Japanese goods that are popular among their peers.

Both the anti-Japanese complex plaguing China and the apathy the Taiwanese people feel about the territorial dispute with Japan are abnormal.

It is time for both to re-consider their approach to the issue - with the Chinese trying to keep a cool head while dealing with Tokyo, and with the Taiwanese thinking about backing their government and defending the country's territory more vigorously.
