In my forties they politely declined my affection

四十來歲時她們禮貌地婉拒我的戀情

In my fifties they sternly warned me

五十來歲，她們嚴竣警告我

In my sixties they called police

六十來歲，她們報警

In my seventies they called social workers

七十來歲，她們找社工

In my eighties they called mental hospital

八十來歲，她們打電話給精神病院

And people say, “Love is eternal”
