| 今年，兒子在出發去外州(隔壁州)參加TAF (Taiwanese American Foundation) 的夏令營。出發前一週，黃臉婆每天耳提面命，交代東交代西。包這個做那個。準備來，準備去。好了又檢查，檢查又不放心。每天心躁躁。。兒子也給黃臉婆搞的壓力很大。。 出發送去搭巴士那天，黃臉公 On Call無法去送行。黃臉婆自己板著臉開著車帶著兒子去巴士站。 T: Mom, I think I have everything covered. Don't worry. M: Yeah. I just wanted to tell you, I trust you. I trust your judgement. I trust you don't make stupid decisions. I trust you know how to deal with pressures. I trust you will do the best for yourself. I trust you will have fun, and come back be a grown up, a better person. 兒子抱抱我說: Thanks, Mom!! I will!! ********************** 一週後，黃臉婆夫妻在週六開車北上，去參加夏令營結束前，最後一夜的晚會。晚會開始前，黃臉婆夫妻先去兒子的宿舍"參觀一番"。兒子十分不自在的坐在書桌前。。看著我，自己開口說: Mom, are you going to say "you should clean this up a bit, put that all together, be more organize.." 我轉頭看他，用很輕口氣的中文說 : 我沒有想到要說呢，不過你希望我說，我可以現在補說一次。 兒子裂口笑出來，又說了 I love you mom!!! 我在他耳朵邊小小聲說 "you did very well." *********************** 週日近午，我們從旅館出發回去營區接孩子。 在營區門口給兒子打電話，跟他說我們在他宿舍門口。 不一會，他自己拖著行李箱出來。 一見到我，先開口: I checked and double checked, I got everything. 我笑笑說: 你很棒! 你長大了!! 他又好開心的說 "Thanks dad, Thanks mom for letting me come to this camp. ^^ |
