本屆2012MTV電影大賞於台灣時間6月4日早上9點於MTV台實況轉播，正處於期末報告與實習成果的雙重天昏地暗之中的我，還是準時坐在電視前收看！(順便一提，我好喜歡今年的廣告) 前一晚睡沒幾個小時加上英文程度低落，整個過程完全只是有看沒有懂的鴨子聽雷加上不知道現場觀眾到底在笑什麼的茫然以及心中不斷抱怨MTV台的同步講解吵死了。話雖如此，整個典禮我仍被開場狠狠的震撼到，成為實況版中給我這種百分百的英文白癡最大的驚豔。 簡單的鼓聲節奏、簡單的鍵盤伴奏、簡單的吉他合弦，襯托出主唱高亢乾淨的嗓音，就算當下歌詞我一句都聽不懂，還是被這一切簡單卻充滿力量的表現給吸引住，讓我非常喜歡這首歌。演唱過程中主唱從頭到尾掛在臉上那個太過陽光的笑臉也讓我昏沈的腦子多了些氧氣，對這首歌就更是印象深刻。 真正得知這首歌的資訊是在幾天之後，看過歌詞之後才發現原來我完全誤解了這首歌的意思！本以為這會是一首描述青春無敵的曲子，沒想到所表現出的卻是在青春當下的另一種愁緒。 歌詞這樣的東西本來就是帶詩意的，隨著聽眾的感受可以有各種不同的解釋，當然這首歌也一樣，英文程度太差如我只好上網找了強大網友所翻譯的中文歌詞，感覺還真是完全不同。 場景在夜裡的酒吧中，歌曲中的主人翁歌了個醉正在與新認識的酒友描述一段自己曾經的戀情；另一種我本身很喜歡的解讀，在酒吧裡歌曲中的主人翁遇上了曾被他傷害過的前女友，於是真心的向她道歉。在網路上還發現另一種說法，是歌曲的主人翁在失戀後於酒吧中獵豔找安慰的過程，這個解釋我總覺得黑了點而不太喜歡... 不管歌曲中的主人翁到底是在對新酒友訴苦還是遇上了前女友而悔過，我整個人被副歌中表現出的「今宵有酒今宵醉」的態度打中，有點無奈、有點自傲，為"今天晚上"舉杯，只期望當我喝醉了時，能有人帶我回家... 除了專輯中的版本外，水管上還有(應該算是？)不插電的版本，比起專輯版本更加清新與乾淨，我個人比較喜歡這個版本呢~
