兩年多前，小兒離家到美國讀書。臨行前在電腦中留下一首英文歌，我偶然在擺弄電腦時發現了，一聼之下，立即被這首歌優美抑揚的旋律和令人動容的歌詞所吸引。後來上網查了一下，才發現，這首叫“ You Rise Me Up ” 的歌曲 ( 中文直譯該是“你將我帶大” ) ，已有許多不同的歌手唱出不同的語言版本，有英語的、意大利語的、日語、烏克蘭語的 … … 遺憾的是竟沒有中文的版本 … … 於是便有了為這首歌填中文詞的衝動 … …

這就是“我是山”這首歌詞的由來。

上次在廈門為父親舉辦的生日聚會，本想上臺給大家朗誦一下這首歌詞的，可最終還是卻場了 … …
