Psalm 8:4-5 "What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You crown him with glory and majesty!" (NASB) There are two accidents confronting atheistic evolutionists. First the formation of molecular engines of life, second the emergence of human mind capable of abstract thought. A mind aware of his own existence, pressed for meaning, systematic in math, artist in music, appreciative of perfection, struggling in ethics, triumphant in legacy, perplexed by choice - a mind abstract from the biological self and not necessary for the prosperity of its host. A mind crowned by Creator, but made a little lower, so that the created forever longs for Him in questioning and dissatisfaction. |
