Dear families and friends

I would like to start with thanking you all for coming along today to join us in celebrating the marriage of M… and R. It really is lovely to see so many familiar faces here today & some obviously not so familiar. I know you have all made a big effort to be here today, So, a warm welcome to you all!

Now, about my lovely daughter, M… has been a joy to have as a daughter, at young age, she was gifted with artistic flair, she enjoyed various creative activities such as dancing, drawing and music groups.  In year 1995, our family migrated to New Zealand, after high school, M… then completed her qualification in Fashion Technology and Design at Christchurch Polytechnic.

R… was her classmate at that time and fell in love with each other since then. After their graduation in year 2000, the couple began to work in the fashion industry. M… then went to New York for a year to advance her design knowledge. In 2006, the couple established their own business specializing in men's Tailoring as MisteR，their own blend. It has been going well as they now have retail locations all around New Zealand.

M… is kind, generous, will do anything for you, will welcome anyone into her home, can be emotional at times, loves animals etc, and I could go on and on.  I guess as any Father would, but I think what I am really trying to say, is that C…. & I, love M…. to bits & we’re very proud of her

In Taiwanese tradition, wife is also called "牽手", meaning to hold each other hands forever, good time and bad time. I would like to encourage the happy couple love as well as to treat each other with respect. From today, it’s a new chapter of M… & R….

在喜悅之餘，內人與我期勉新郎新娘必須相敬如賓，相愛一輩子，彼此互信、彼此忍讓，才會白首偕老。對台灣人來說，太太稱為"牽手"，意義深遠，就是太太是娶來緊緊的牽一輩子的手，來呵護一輩子的，正是所謂的「執子之手，與子偕老」之深意。對新人來說，從今天結婚起就算真正是大人，更是責任的開始，對家庭、對事業都是一份責任，以宏遠的國際觀經營事業，同時應以感恩的心孝順父母，以慈愛的心善於教養未來的孩子。

Finally, my dear friends and families, as Chinese New year is approaching, I would like to wish every one of you a happy new year, good health and a prosperous year ahead. 恭祝大家新年快樂，恭喜發財，身體健康，萬事如意，心想事成!
