孔融被收，中外惶怖。時融兒大者九歲，小者八歲。二兒故琢釘戲，了無遽容。融謂使者曰：『冀罪止於身，二兒可得全不？』兒徐進曰：『大人豈見覆巢之下，復有完卵乎？』尋亦收至。」

Kong Rong was arrested; his family were in a state of panic.  Kongs two sons, aged nine and eight respectively, were still playing a children game like top.  Neither face of theirs was etched with fear.  Kong asked the man sent for taking him, "I hope I am the only one being responsible for the charge.  I wonder if my sons could be acquitted?"  The sons said to him with composure, "Father, have your ever seen any intact eggs in a  tumbledown nest?"  Ere long, both of them were also arrested.
