After nearly eleven years, as the same cardiovascular outpatients, I met her again at the same hospital again. When I inserted my National Health card into the slot of the reporting machine, I noticed her name, ahead of mine, was on the screen. Though the first character of the given name of all patients did not appear, I could identify it was her because of her unpopular last name. Then I sat on the couch and waited for her, a little nervously, to come. Finally, "she" showed up. A seventy-odd lady with glasses and gray hair. She seemed a little bit shorter than I thought, kind of slouch due to aging, perhaps. After reporting, she sat on another couch, so I could not see her. My thoughts about her were not lingering on the memories of those days 55 years ago; instead, I wondered if she was happy now. Is her heart problem serious? Why did not any person accompany her for the medical visit? As I am four years older than her, I thank Heaven for not having erased my memories of the past, including "her." Who is she", anyway? Please see my previous posting at Admiring her from afar, forever. - kkuo0810的部落格 - udn部落格
