堆來枕上愁何狀, Indescribable mood brought me piles of sorrow, 江海翻波浪。 tossing and turning like wavy sea hitting me on the pillow. 夜長天色總難明, Still a long night away from meeting the daybreak; 寂寞披衣起坐數寒星。 donned and seated, I told the lone stars of my heartbreak . 曉來百念都灰燼, Till dawn all my forlorn hopes vanished, 剩有離人影。 left me only the very thoughts of her unbounded 一鉤殘月向西流, The faded moon was sinking in the west, 對此不拋眼淚也無由。 hardly could I hold my tears to the utmost.
PS Again, the poem is supposed to be the one that Chairman Mao wrote during early 20s for his wife Ms Yan Kaihui, who later sacrified her life for the revolution.
