三萬里河東入海，

Yellow River flows thirty thousand li to empty onto the seas,

五千仞岳上摩天。

and Mt. Hua rises forty thousand chi to climb up to the skies. 

遗民淚盡胡塵里，

Subjugated compatriots have drained out their tears in the north,

南望王師又一年。

one more year in forlorn hope waiting for the rescue from the south.
