王勃：杜少府之任蜀州

城闕輔三秦，風煙望五津。 
You are now assigned to Sihchuan, from the post in capital Changan
與君離別意，同是宦遊人。 
Being officials of public life, to each other we have to say farewell.
海內存知己，天涯若比鄰。 
There are alter egos everywhere, like neighbors of your social sphere.
無為在歧路，兒女共沾巾。 
No need of having a wrench like parting couples, shedding tears in hankies.

FYI, it is such a pity that Mr Wang died so young as only 27 years old.  His another great work "滕王閣序" is almost beyond translation into other languages.
