麥克‧傑克遜的〈他們不在乎我們〉（They Dont Care about Us）這首歌和它的節奏都同樣地讓人感受到強烈的震撼。從歌詞表面來看，這首歌為弱勢團體發聲，控訴特定階級（種族）或特定職業（警察）的歧視與不公正；但是也可以更深入地去思考各種特定思想的信仰者，不論是種族優越主義者，宗教狂熱者，甚或是以正義為名、行邪惡之實的偽善者（或團體或國家），他們真的心存公正、心存關愛嗎？
[3] jew通常有貶抑之意。《紐約時報》以"jew me sue me"這句歌詞指稱這首歌有反猶太主義的傾向。不過譯文時仍先採用jew的動詞（亦有貶抑），指討價還價的消費行為。而對Jew的譯法，在台灣曾有人主張應該把犬部的「猶」字譯為「尤」，避免負面意涵出現。
