常常在做presentation的時候，因為緊張就忽略了小細節嗎？以下是在science領域的presentation發生的錯誤示範，試著看看你能抓出多少錯誤吧！

1. This paper was published in Nature Magazine on December 2012. 這篇文章在2012年12月發表在Nature雜誌。

2. Please open the light for me, thank you. 請幫我開燈，謝謝。

3. This graph shows how many percent of tumor cells survived. 這個圖表顯示癌症細胞的存活率。

4. Chemotherapy is used to cure cancer. 化療是用來治療癌症。

5. The reaction times significant decreased. 反應的時間明顯減少了。

Debug Answers

1. This paper was published in Nature Magazine in December 2012.

月份前面需要用in，年前面也要用in，日前則是要用on。

Ex: Our high school class reunion is on January 2nd in 2012. 我們高中聚會在1月2號2012年。

2. Please turn on the light for me, thank you.

打開電器產品的“開”這個動作，是用turn on. Open則是用在非電器產品上，如open a book. 電燈為電器產品，故用turn on 來表示動作；另外，turn on the pc, 打開電腦，也是使用turn on 作為“開”的動作。

Ex: Turn on the projector. 打開投影機。

3. This graph shows what percent of tumor cells survived.

Percent 是一個完整的數據，而不是小單位；所以問多少百分比，要用what percent。若要說有多少癌症細胞存活，就要用how many tumor cells...。

Ex: What percent of the world’s population smokes? 世界人口抽煙的百分比有多少？

4. Chemotherapy is used to treat cancer.

Cure 是完整有效的治療。但像癌症這樣的疾病，只能夠盡全力的治療，未必能夠痊癒，故用treat來指治療癌症的動作。

Ex: HIV is most effectively treated with a combination of drugs. HIV 用藥物組合治療最有效。

5. The reaction times significantly decreased.

Decreased 是動詞，所以不能用significant (形容詞)在前面，要用 significantly (副詞)。

Ex: The results were carefully observed and recorded. 結果被仔細的觀察和記錄。
