這首是舊歌，是電影「花木蘭」的主題曲，我想應該大家都聽過了吧？我非常喜歡這首歌，不只是因為Christina唱得很好，歌詞亦非常深入我心。（以下歌詞不附中文，我認為英文能直接讓人感受到歌詞的意義）

諸如「You may think you see who I really am. But you'll never know me 」、「Now I see...If I wear a mask, I can fool the world. But I cannot fool my heart」、「Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me?」這首歌詞，在透過花木蘭這個故事主角本身的矛盾與質問中，看進每個人都曾有的亦或是現有的疑問和焦慮，在「But somehow, I will show the world what's inside my heart...And be loved for who I am」這句令人共鳴著一種恐懼：「真實自己是否會不受人歡迎、是否破壞目前的人際？」可是Why must we all conceal ,What we think, How we feel? Must there be a secret me (that) I'm forced to hide?

我們為什麼要一直掩飾？我們真正的想法呢？我們真正的感受呢？那些都在哪裡？把它壓抑在面具底下，就能活的快樂幸福嗎？在Christina最後高亢的歌聲中，「Why is my reflection, someone I don't know? Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time? When will my reflection show who I am inside? There's a heart that must be free to fly」，如果有一天，我們真的能對這個世界表現真實的自己，我想heart that must be free to fly的感覺，會讓人感到全身都輕了起來吧！

窗外下著大雨，一片黑暗，這片黑暗是真實而包容的，因為它一無所有，又無所不有，大雨的聲音能將一切淹沒，掩去了歡笑與眼淚，喜歡的、不喜歡的聲音，在被隔離的空間中，有著最喧囂的寂靜，讓我們在歌聲中捫心自問，我們有多久不曾說出自己真正的想法？我們又有多久活在種種身不由己的限制之下？

至少在被大雨或黑夜隔絕的世界裡，你可以用最輕鬆的方式面對自己；面對那個「who I’m inside」。
