綠樹陰濃夏日長，

Leafy trees provide shades for the summer long;

樓臺倒影入池塘。

the image of the tower reflected into the pond.

水晶簾動微風起，

Crystal-like curtains gently swing in breeze,

滿架薔薇一院香。

while scent from rose bushes fills the garden abound. 

PS  Starting today, the long, sultry summer begins, according to lunar calendar.  Let us hope we could enjoy a summer like the author said in his poem.  BTW, the author, Gao Pian, is a lengendary general in late Tang Dynasty; please google to find the vicissitude of his life if you are interested in him.
