表達「影響」的句型

表達「影響」的名詞常用influence, impact, effect等，其前搭配的動詞常用have, make, exert, exercise等；而其前搭配的正面形容詞包括big, critical, direct, great, huge, lasting, long-term, major, positive, powerful, profound, significant, substantial, tremendous等，負面的形容詞則有limited, no, negative, detrimental等；而其後的介系詞則常用on或in。例如以下句型： 

1. The Greek classics continue to exert influence on western European literature.

希臘古典作品一直對西歐文學有很大的影響。

2. This paper explores the influence of cognitive styles on second language test performance.

本論文探討認知型態對第二語言測驗表現的影響。

3. Although the caste system has been made illegal in modern India, it still exercises an influence in rural areas.

儘管種姓制度在現代印度已屬非法，但是在鄉村地區仍能發揮其影響力。

4. The influence of the foreign language model may lead to the production of new models in the target language.

  外語模式的影響可能導致目標語新模式的產出。

5. Research in bilingual education has verified that strategies can have a powerful impact on language learning.

雙語教育的研究證實策略對語言學習有重要影響。

6. It has proved difficult to measure the impact of health on economic growth.

要測量健康對經濟成長的影響已證明相當困難。

7. The amount of exposure to a foreign language has a positive effect on student performance.

接觸外語的機會對學生的表現有正面影響。

8. His findings point to the detrimental effect of noise on the performance of simultaneous verbal tasks.

   他的研究發現指出噪音對於同步的語言工作會有負面影響。

9. The report’s task was to assess the effects on 920,000 people living in the nearby  area.

這份報告的任務是評估對這92萬名住在鄰近地區居民的影響。

10. What happens in people’s personal lives often affects what happens in their public lives.

     一般人個人生活所發生的事情通常會影響他們的公開生活。

    說明：之前第7, 8, 9句中的effect是名詞（effect也可作動詞，但是指「實現」 的意思），此句和之前的第10句的affect則是動詞，兩字的拼寫非常接近，只有一個字母之差，容易混淆。

11. The interviewing relationship can be deeply affected by sexist attitudes and behaviors.

    訪談關係會受到性別歧視者態度和行為的嚴重影響。

   說明：此句為被動語態，affected之前可搭配各種副詞如greatly, negatively, seriously, badly, severely等。

12. The field has been strongly shaped by conceptual and methodological approaches from other more established disciplines.

    該領域的概念和方法的取徑受到其它較成熟學科極大的影響。
