This is a very intriguing news I read from udn.com today. http://udn.com/NEWS/NATIONAL/BREAKINGNEWS1/4939771.shtml It reported that a congress lady from DPP criticized that President Ma should not address Hillary Clinton as Mrs. Clinton in a dinner party and how it caused shame to the U.S. and showed prejudice to independent women. EXCUSE ME? First of all, Clinton is Hillary's last name. If it is not Mrs. Clinton, then would it be Ms. Rodham? Or she could be addressed as Secretary Clinton as it is her official titile. But either way it is proper and did NOT cause any shame to anybody. If it DID cause shame to somebody, it would be to that congress lady. She needs to take some etiquet class, like she suggested, or some English class. Then I tried to find some news clips on youtube and see if I can see a closeup between President Ma and Clinton's interaction at this dinner party. I found something MORE INTERESTING. Here is this Chen and Laura Bush's clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsN0KIHcGns GEE. Even a door to door salesman shows more grace and etiquet than this dude did. Now, THAT WAS A SHAME! |
