「聯合航空93號班機」 ( "United 93") 上的40位殉難的機員乘客，之所以被尊為英雄，因為他們是9.11被恐怖份子劫持四架飛機中，唯一得知前面已有三架被迫撞毀重要地標，然後「知其不可為而為之」，「有惡甚於死者，則捨生而取義。」 上面引用的兩句古人的話，曾是中國儒家尊崇的聖賢精神。我輩讀書人均能朗朗上口。可是活的越久，越會發現說比作容易多了! 英國導演Greengrass 詳實訪問了上百位相關證人，根據官方調查報告，用心的拍下這部影片，要為歷史留下見證，又捐出上映頭一星期收入百分之十為受難家屬基金。但是他的拍片時機還是引起了極大的爭議和反彈。 十多家報章雜誌影評，都給了的同情鼓勵式的A(只有嚴厲的紐約時報仍只給B+)，「出神入話電影」常引用的兩家報紙卻一致質疑為什麼要拍成商業電影? 扣應節目觀眾責問電影公司拿這樣的故事賺錢，情何已堪! 機長的遺孀強調她協助拍攝，沒有收受分文金錢利益；大部分的犧牲者的家屬也都對該部電影有正面的評價，至少給了他們一份補償的安慰，體會到了最接近親人歷難時的心境! 「聯合航空93號班機」 ( "United 93") 讓鬼神共泣! 這不是另外一部驚悚片，大部分觀眾看過後會心有所不忍! 像看到在電視銀幕上默默誌哀兩千多位在伊拉克殉職的年輕士兵遺像；甚至會有寫完「南京大屠殺」後，作者張純如(Iris Chang) 拒絕偷生與醜陋的歷史共存，那樣沉重自責的道德感! 附註: Hollywood Reporter By Kirk Honeycutt …“How many moviegoers will be willing to endure "United 93"? I suspect many will, but what that adds up to in terms of boxoffice is anybody's guess. Understandably, controversy engulfs this film. Is now the right time for such a film? Why make the film at all? Unlike Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," the film doesn't get into the whereabouts of the president that day, or why Osama bin Laden ordered the attack; its focus is purposely narrow. But that narrow focus, along with the lack of fully realized characters, and the absence of any historical or political context, raises the question of why, notwithstanding the usual (if shaky) commercial imperative, this particular movie was made. To jolt us out of complacency? Remind us of those who died? Unite us, as even the film's title seems to urge? Entertain us?”…
