Angela Carter, the name is not familiar to me. I am not a Feminist, don't think I have been influenced by the wave; and, I have never read any of such articles. I am a nature-borned independent minded person, I guess, if I have to categorize myself.

In some points of the view, her words is true. However, here comes again, a few examples map to the bigger whole; even though it is not case of outlier. There are quite a numbers of women prostitue instead of conjugate in marriage. Please admit cases of vice versa do exist.  In ways, active femists and male chauvinists are the two tails of the humanities.

I don't blame the dispicable behavior, I pity the low amoral egoism.

Shocking! Are you sure "prostitution" is the right word in your mind? If no error, I think you're too cynical. I admit there are some bad reporters, like Martin Bashir, who produced fake bank statement when interviewed Princess Di; and yes, even Brian Williams himself lied about his experience in his report about the Gulf War... (yes, including 為了收視率及利益不惜撒謊、汙衊民進黨政府對手的周老小姐) However, there are many good men and women doing their job whole heartedly and professionally. I'd rather to see the good then the bad.

By the way of using a few bad examples to image to the bigger  whole, aren't you calling married women "prostitution" due to their officially having sex as way of earning butter on their bread?

人會老，時代也一直在變:
人是一定會老，甚至死亡，這是一條單線的不歸路；時代的進展，可不一見得是一直線的單行道。時代的進展，或許可能會迴旋，可能會多頭進行，也可能分岔各自進行、合擊、、、是多變的。

大部分的人，都只是隨時代的浪潮前行、消逝。這是不變的事實。

我大部分的時候不是樂觀主義者，尤其是某些人類的劣根性，總覺得劣根在某些時刻強壓善念，所以，我不存以 希望。科技使人類的物質生活進步，但人性並未與時共進，還在原地踏步。

想來。幸好人命有限，如果人類的壽命延長隨隨便便都可活個幾百歲，這個地球會怎樣被糟蹋? 人類的慾望無窮，地球是供應不起的。

Peter Jennings的電視生涯開始於加拿大，跳槽到ABC成為領一代風騷的歷史也僅止於那個時代。之後，Resume上沒有顯赫大學畢業、沒有閃亮的成績、事蹟，求職上是很難起步的。(拜這個疫情，大家窩在家裡，解封之後，處處缺工，到處投遞resume的時代不再，HR已經開始反思這個問題。岔題了。)

ABC繼Peter Jennings之後，本來是要栽培Bob Woodruff接主播位的，沒想到，Bob在戰場上被炸去一片頭後，只好拉 Charles Gibson出來，扛不了多久，換Diane Sawyer；現在是走Diane路線的David Muir接大位。在我看來，ABC這些接班人一個個都比不上前任，沒有Peter的大將軍風、氣派。CBS根本甭提了，沒人。NBC的Brian Williams接主播位，也還不差，可是鬧個假造關於他報導伊戰的醜聞，只好下台 (可能是跟Bob Woodruff拚比播報的壓力吧?!) 躲風頭，在MSNBC開個晚間節目 11Hour我是很喜歡看的。

老三台時代，結束了。
網上風雲正起，我要看Chris Wallace從Fox跳到CNN會有甚麼好戲!!

沒錯，老三台主播: ABC的Peter Jennungs，NBC的Tom Brokaw和CBS的Dan Rather。這三者，Tom大舌頭和他老愛眨眼睛的習慣，看了實在不舒服，而Dan Rather有點咄咄逼人之氣，too aggressive，不愛看。所以也是看Peter Jannings的多。他們在911事件中，不眠不休，長時間的連續播報不但是個紀錄也是安慰人心的力量。

我是現世商人，信鬼神不信有所謂全知全能的上帝；所以，沒有全知全能的媒體人、政客、學者、、、Hmmm...會不會也全X全Y的Sir Norton? 有的話，崇拜。
