One fine day was today, the very first day of Chinese New Year. As usual, my wife and I went, with her brother, to the cemetery located at Jinshan in memorial of their deceased parents. Then we drove along the northeastern coast highway to a seafood restaurant to have the lunch. Congested road, swarming people, cramped restaurant, and everything was bustling with life in this beautiful, shining day may bode well for a better Year of the rabbit.
The scene also reminded me of that immortal poem 元日 by Mr. Wang Anshi, describing a beautiful first day of the year in other way: https://classic-blog.udn.com/kkuo0810/130110842
