Yesterday I said sometimes we must look things from historical angle, not just from personal gain or loss.  I do not mean personal losses are not important, for every single life really does matter.  Attached below is a reportage telling the pathetic stories of some intellectuals after 1949, particular during Cutural Revolution.

Those victims are no doubt elites, and there must have been some erroneous cases, or fake cases, or injustice cases involved.  Maybe I am wrong, but I must point out, reviewing from the outcome of today, some of those "public intellectuals" might have been stumbling stones for then China to become a socialist state.  I do sympatize their misfortune, but I also believe the evolution of human history. 

I do hope "不再折驣" any more in China.
