This morning my daughter called us over her iPad through LINE, and likewise we used our iPad to talk with her and our granddaugther. Well, it was an audio-visual communication that enabled us to speak to and see at each other on screens. How human and sweet the modern technologies are. Just as our conversation ended, the iPad popped out a message that Premier Li Keqiang was holding the dual sessions' press conference live. So I clicked on the link to watch. There must have had hundreds of correspondents from domestic media, as well as from foreign countries, gathering in a spacious hall. Li answered all of the questions with slow and ariculate tone, and all of his statements were firm, positive, and down-to-earth. The extempore translations were also excellent. (I've introduced to you that lady interpreter, Ms Zhang Lu 張璐, in my previous writings. But I can't help myself introducing her to you again at http://m2.people.cn/r/MV8wXzEwNzAyNjA2XzE2NDhfMTUyMTU0OTcwNw==?tt_group_id=6535008579315827203) P.S. I can hardly imagine if that Wonky Cai could hold a similar press conference without her scripted talk of kitsch style. LOL. |
