這幾天心情真的很悶!

我對於美式的電影,流行音樂,甚至於葡萄酒基本上沒有什麼喜好的問題.在態度上也類似於”天要下雨,娘要嫁人”就隨它去吧,這樣的心態.不過這樣的心態也不是剛開始就這樣,而是,好像年齡越來越大後才更加的明顯. 

以流行樂來說,我的青春歲月時期的兩大天王是”Michael Jackson & Prince “不過這也是特定的一段時期,太早我還太小,聽不懂.太晚我已太老,沒興趣了. Michael Jackson 在1982年的專輯“THRILLER”紅遍全美之後接著襲捲全球.當然這股熱朝也來到了台灣...我記得1988年的前後對我而言真是個純真完美的年代,好像生命中精彩的事都發生在這幾年 ! 之後Michael的音樂風格也跟隨著我的年紀增長越行越遠..  

這幾天心情真的很悶的原因不消說當然跟Michael Jackson有關.感覺上像是存在於那段時期美好歲月的記憶都隨著他的驟然辭世失失去了張力！

THRILLER

Unsurprisely, anticipation of the next Jackson album, "THRILLER", was at fever pitch by the time of its release at the end of 1982. By then, Michael had also contributed to another Jacksons'album, "TRIUMPH", and undertaken a massive UK tour with the group.

"THRILLER" surpassed all expectations, both artistically and commercially, establishing Michael as the globe's biggest star and transforming everyone's ideas about popular music.

Firstly there were the hits it contained, with "BILLE JEAN", "BEAT IT" and "THRILLER" itself sharking the charts like a succession of earth tremors over the next year.

Then there were the videos that accompanied them, which showed the world at large what Jackson fans had known all along- that Michael was the most remarkable dancer of his generation, some thing underlined by Michael's performance at the Motown 25th anniversary concert in 1983,when he "moonwalked" before an audience of 50 million television viewers.

The Jackson videos were a landmark in the evolution of what was still a young form. Inparticular, the 15 minute "THRILLER" video, made by film director Jon Landis, became widely celebrated, its macabre "dance of the ghouls" an instant classic to rival anything from Hollywood's past.

這張專輯出來時我已經在航空公司上班了.曾經看著專載他演唱會道具的專機AN-124像隻會飛的蜈蚣壯觀的降落在中正機場 !

再來的,就沒什麼記憶了…
