Here’s your revised text with corrected English grammar and Simplified Chinese converted to Traditional Chinese:
Hello everyone!
Welcome to Let’s Talk in English. My name is Garrett.
And my name is Esther. Today we have a travel lesson.
The title is "Fun in Alaska." Alaska is the place we will talk about today.
Remember that the United States has 50 states.
Alaska is one of them, and it’s the one that’s the furthest north.
Right, in fact, it’s a little different from the other states.
It’s not in the same place—it’s right next to the north part of Canada.
So what does that mean?
It means it gets pretty cold there.
It’s icy and snowy.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to see and do there.
We’re going to learn more about Alaska today. Now, let’s go to today’s reading.
Visiting Alaska is a wonderful experience.
It’s the biggest state in the USA and has lots of exciting things to see and do.
You can see amazing mountains and huge glaciers.
Alaska is famous for its beautiful wild animals. Many moose, several kinds of bears, and other smaller animals make their homes there.
You can hike, fish, or go in a boat on a lake.
Alaska has more than three million lakes.
You can also take a train trip.
It’s the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Alaska scenery.
Thank you, Garrett! Wow, it sounds like there’s so much to do and so much to see in this big, cold state!
That’s right—lots of nature! Well, friends, we have a special challenge for you. Can you find the answer to our find it question?
What is Alaska famous for? Find the answer in our lesson today.
Now, let’s go to Sonya for today’s keywords.
James說他想去阿拉斯加看駝鹿。
Sira說,或是去看熊 (or a bear).
名詞bear就是熊。
阿拉斯加確實以許多美麗的野生動物而著名。
Alaska is famous for its many beautiful wild animals.
形容詞famous就是著名的,
而野生動物就是wild animals。
形容詞wild就是野生的。
在阿拉斯加可以享受很多的戶外活動,
像是健行、釣魚或坐船。
You can hike, fish, or go on a boat.
名詞boat就是船。
Siri說他去阿拉斯加的話,
想要搭火車旅行。
I’d like to take a train trip.
名詞train就是火車。
Hahaha!
哦,
What are you laughing at, Sarah?
This funny video—a moose walked into a building and started eating the plants!
Where? In Anchorage, Alaska.
There are more than one thousand moose around the city!
Really? I’d like to go to Alaska and see a moose or a bear.
Alaska is famous for its many beautiful wild animals.
It would be fun to see them all.
Well, today, James and Sarah are chatting.
James wants to know what Sarah is looking at. Well, Sarah is watching a funny video, and in this video, there is a special animal called a moose.
It walked into a building.
Wow, that’s exciting! What else is exciting? Learning more with Sonya!
James說,Sarah,你在笑什麼?
What are you laughing at, Sarah?
間隙詞at可以用來表示對著或向某事物或某人看。
例句:She is waving at the cute puppy.
他對那隻可愛的幼犬揮手。
Please don’t yell at me.
請不要對我大吼。
再一句:The teacher pointed at the boys.
老師指向那些男孩。
Thank you, Sonia! Wow, a moose walking into a building would be pretty incredible!
And this moose started eating the plants. Now, a moose is a very large land animal that you can find in Alaska.
In fact, we learned that the city of Anchorage has more than one thousand moose around the city.
Yeah! Wow, moose are kind of like deer, but they’re much bigger.
And we heard there that the plural of moose is also moose.
So, one moose and one thousand moose, right?
And James thinks it’s interesting. He says, “Really?”
He says, I’d like to go to Alaska and see a moose.
I think I would too!
I wouldn’t want to get too close to them though.
Well, let’s go ahead and answer our find it question now.
Did you find the answer, friends?
What is Alaska famous for?
It’s famous for its many beautiful wild animals.
Besides moose, you can also see bears there.
There are many bears in the wild in Alaska.
They are beautiful animals, but they can be dangerous.
If you are out camping in Alaska or some other place with bears, be careful!
Right! Bears are cute animals.
Many people like to hold small toy bears we call teddy bears.
A bear has a round face and two round ears. They can be brown, black, or white.
Well, let’s talk more about some of the words we heard.
Alaska is famous for those animals.
If a place is famous for something, it’s well-known because of that.
For example, my home state of California is famous for its beaches, and Canada is famous for maple trees.
Now, we also heard the word wild.
Alaska has a lot of wild animals.
This means these animals are living out in nature.
They are not people’s pets, and they are not living in a zoo.
That’s right, they are out in the wild, so that is their area.
When you go there, be careful.
James says it would be fun to see them all—all of those wild animals.
It sounds like James is really interested in Alaska!
How about you, friends?
Maybe you can go and look up some information about Alaska.
Do that right now as we take a quick break. We will be right back.
Let’s Talk in English
Talking English—ten minutes every day!
Every day, that’s the way!
Welcome back to the show, everyone!
Some of us love to live in big cities that are very convenient,
but if you’re someone who would love to live out in the wild, Alaska might be the place for you!
Right!
Especially if you like wild animals and if you want to look at moose,
you can live in the city of Anchorage.
Let’s go ahead and learn more about Alaska!
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
Yes, there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy there.
You can hike, fish, or go on a boat.
There are a lot of lakes in Alaska.
I’d really like to hike on a glacier.
That would be an amazing experience!
And I’d like to take a train trip.
That’s another great way to see the beautiful Alaska scenery.
Ah, I love this sentence from Sara:
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
Did you hear the two describing adjectives that start with w?
Wonderful and wild!
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
And that is a wonderful calendar phrase:
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
阿拉斯加是個美妙而又原生態的地方。
You can hike in Alaska.
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
You can fish in Alaska.
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
You can boat in Alaska.
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
So let’s go!
Oh!
Yeah, what a wonderful wild idea!
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
Alaska is a wonderful wild place.
阿拉斯加是個美妙而又原生態的地方。
Well, Alaska is a wonderful and wild place,
so when people go there, they like to do things outdoors.
That’s why James says there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy,
and Sara tells us what some of these outdoor activities are.
She says that you can hike, fish, or go on a boat.
Hmm, I think you could probably do all of those things together.
Maybe you can go for a hike, bring your fishing pole, and go fishing.
Maybe when you go there, there’s a boat—take it out onto a lake and continue fishing.
Right, because there are a lot of lakes in Alaska.
Now, if you are on water, you are probably on a boat.
A boat floats and can take you from place to place on a river or on a lake.
A boat is a kind of vehicle.
There are many different kinds, from a small kayak to a really big cruise ship with thousands of people on it.
Yes, they are all different kinds of boats.
Now, James tells us where he’d like to hike, and this is quite special.
He’d really like to hike on a glacier.
That’s one of my favorite words—glacier.
A glacier is a big piece of ice.
It’s kind of like a frozen river, sort of.
It is always moving, but very slowly, and it never fully melts during the summer.
It is always frozen.
James says that he would like to hike on a glacier,
and he believes it would be an amazing experience.
An experience is something you do or try.
Sarah says she’d like to take a train trip—
very different from hiking on a glacier.
A train is another kind of vehicle.
It can take you over long distances.
Trains travel on train tracks,
and there are many train tracks in Alaska.
And we heard this sentence:
I’d like to take a train trip.
If you would like to do something, it means that you are interested in doing something.
Sonia, can you help us with this phrase?
Sarah說,我想要搭火車旅行。
I’d like to take a train trip.
句中I’d like to是I would like to的縮寫。
它相當於I want to加動詞,表示“我想要……”
但would like to的語氣顯得更正式一些。
來看例句:
I’d like to tell you some good news.
我想要告訴你一些好消息。
或是:
They’d like to eat dinner now.
他們現在想要吃晚餐了。
再一句:
He’d like to invite you to the party.
他想邀請你參加派對。
Thank you, Sonia!
While James agrees—he agrees that going on a train trip would be fun.
Yes, that is another great way to see the beautiful Alaska scenery.
If you need to travel long distances, you could take a plane ride,
but then you won’t see the landscape around you.
Taking a train can be a great way to see those things, right?
And now it’s time for us to go and review today’s keywords.
Here’s your first keyword for today:
Famous
Famous—Korea is famous for its K-dramas.
Wild
Wild—Did you see the wild animals?
Bear
Bear—Are you afraid of bears?
Boat
Boat—He took the boat out on the lake.
Train
Train—We took a train trip to Tainan.
Well friends, those are today’s keywords. Keep practicing them!
And now it’s your turn!
Today’s words are famous, wild, bears, boat, and train.
Now, it’s your turn to use them in a sentence.
First:
We can fish from the __________.
You got it! We can fish from the boat.
Next:
Be careful in this __________ area.
Correct! Be careful in this wild area.
Next:
The city is an hour away by __________.
You’re right! The city is an hour away by train.
Next:
Those are really big __________.
That’s right! Those bears are really big.
Last one:
That musician is very __________.
Good job! That musician is very famous.
Great job for guessing all the words correctly!
Be sure to join me again tomorrow for your turn.

Hey, Ginger!
What do you have there?
I have a scarf, boots, and warm gloves. Hmm...
Why?
It’s not that cold here.
It’s not cold here, but it’s cold in Alaska.
And you want to go there?
Yeah!
Why Alaska?
It’s a wonderful and wild place.
You can see moose and bears there.
I know Alaska is famous for wild animals.
And that’s not all!
Alaska has many outdoor activities.
I know you can go hiking, fishing, or boating. Sounds fun!
Oh, oh!
You can also take a trip on a train.
That’s a great way to see the beautiful scenery!
Alaska would be an amazing experience.
I know, amazing!
But cold. Very cold.
Very, very cold!
Let’s go!
Hey, everyone!
This is Alaska!
It’s a fun place!
But a cold place!
Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho!
They’re the biggest members of the deer family.
Yeah, moose are huge. Their antlers can be six feet wide,
but only the males have them.
Moose are good swimmers, and they can move through deep snow.
Wow, it would be fun to see a real moose!
Well, if you do, don’t get too close!
Don’t worry, I won’t, of course.
You can also find bears in Alaska.
Like me!
There are three kinds: black bears, the smallest; brown bears, sometimes called grizzly bears; and polar bears.
Polar bears are really cool!
It would be fun to see one!
Well, if you do, don’t get too close!
Don’t worry, I won’t!
Another animal you can find in Alaska is the reindeer.
Yeah, reindeer have antlers.
That’s right—both male and female.
And reindeer can travel well in the snow.
It would be fun to see a real reindeer!
You can, and you can even get close!
Really?
Yes! At a reindeer ranch,
you can get close and even take pictures with the reindeer!
Yeah!
Wow, Alaska is a fun place!
Oh, but a cold place.
Yeah, really cold!
Well, Esther, you told me earlier that you’ve been to Alaska before.
I have!
When I was young, we went in the summer, and I remember it was very bright.
Even at nine o’clock at night, the sun was still shining.
Oh!
Was it hard to sleep?
Then, it was very hard to sleep. But now it’s November,
so it’s very dark most of the time in Alaska.
Oh, yeah!
So you might feel a little sleepy even during the day.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t lots of wild scenery to see!
Friends, we’ll keep talking about this tomorrow.
Join us then, right here on Let’s Talk in English.
Goodbye!

Here’s the revised version of your text with correct grammar and simplified Chinese changed to traditional Chinese, while preserving the original meaning:
Hello everyone,
Welcome to Let’s Talk in English.
My name is Esther,
And my name is Garrett. Today,
We continue our travel lesson.
Do you remember where we’re going? Well,
The name of our lesson is Fun in Alaska.
Fun in Alaska,
America’s northernmost state.
It’s famous for its wildlife – the wild animals you can see all around the state.
Right? One example of a wild animal you can see is a bear.
There are lots of bears in Alaska.
Right, I remember growing up, whenever we went camping,
They always told us to be careful,
Make sure you seal all your food away so the bears can’t smell it
And come running over to get some. Right?
You can also go on a boat, right?
If you like fishing,
There are lots of fish you can catch on a boat in Alaska,
Maybe in one of Alaska’s lakes. Finally,
You could also travel around on a train.
There are many train lines
That can show you the wonderful scenery all around Alaska.
And now,
We’re going to go to today’s challenge – our Find It question.
Our question is: What did everyone wear on the nature walk?
What did everyone wear on the nature walk?
Well, friends,
Who is everyone, and what nature walk are we talking about?
Well, I’m sure we’ll find out in today’s lesson.
Now let’s go to Sonya,
Who will teach us our keywords.
Tara說:
她最近去阿拉斯加看到了北極光。
I saw them on my recent trip to Alaska.
形容詞 recent 就是「最近的」。
她還邊看北極光邊泡溫泉放鬆呢。
I was relaxing in a hot spring.
名詞 hot spring 就是「溫泉」。
Tara還去了冰雕博物館,那座博物館
是由1,000多噸的冰雪打造而成的。
It was created from over a thousand tons of ice and snow.
名詞 snow 就是「雪」。
他們走了一趟有趣的步行之旅,
每個人都穿著大靴子和厚大衣。
Everyone wore big boots and winter coats.
名詞 boot 就是「靴子」。
Tara還去結了冰的提納湖上釣魚。
Greg說那不是很冷嗎?
Wasn’t that pretty chilly?
形容詞 chilly 就是「寒冷的」。
Welcome to the program, Tara.
Thanks, Greg. Have you ever seen the northern lights?
No, but I’ve always wanted to. I saw them on my recent trip to Alaska.
It was amazing to watch the lights dance across the sky.
Where were you when you saw them?
I was relaxing in a hot spring at Chena Hot Springs, near the city of Fairbanks.
That would be a fun way to see them!
It was! I also went to the Aurora Ice Museum.
It was created from over a thousand tons of ice and snow.
Well, today we’re talking about travel,
And who better to have on our show than Tara?
She’s here talking to Greg about her travels,
And she wants to know if Greg has ever seen the northern lights.
The northern lights are something you can see in the northern parts of some places in the world,
But only at certain times during the year.
They have a special fancy name that you might hear,
Sometimes called the Aurora Borealis,
Or sometimes just Aurora.
These are wonderful, colorful lights up in the sky that shine and dance.
I would love to see them.
Me too! And you see these lights at night.
Greg’s never seen the northern lights,
But he says that he’s always wanted to.
If you’ve always wanted to do something,
It means you have wanted to do something for a long time but haven’t done it yet.
That’s a great phrase for us to practice and learn more about.
Here’s Sonya to help us out.
Tara問Greg:
你看過北極光嗎?
Greg說:
沒有,可是我一直想看。
No, but I’ve always wanted to.
本句 I’ve always wanted to 為現在完成式。
Have 或 has 加上過去分詞,
這樣的用法表示從過去到現在持續的想法。
我一直都想要。
後面可再加原形動詞來看。
例句:
I’ve always wanted to go skiing.
我一直都想去滑雪。
或是
I’ve always wanted to visit Paris.
我一直都想去巴黎遊覽。
再來一句:
I’ve always wanted to ride a horse.
我一直都想去騎馬。
Thank you, Sonya.
Tara did get to see those northern lights on her recent trip to Alaska.
That’s one of the places where you can see them,
And Tara went on a recent trip there.
This means that she went there not too long ago.
The word recent means not too long ago.
Yeah, you might say, I had a recent visit to the doctor,
Or I recently visited that place.
Tara says it was amazing to watch the lights dance across the sky.
Right, because when you are watching those northern lights,
It looks like the lights are dancing in different colors.
Now, Greg wants to know where she was when she saw the northern lights.
Well, she was relaxing in a hot spring at Chena Hot Springs near the city of Fairbanks in Alaska.
Now, if you like to take a hot bath,
Then you might like to go to a hot spring.
A hot spring can be found in nature,
Where people can also make it. It’s just when you have a place
Where there’s a lot of hot water.
Yeah, but it’s natural hot water.
There are only certain places in the world
That have hot springs.
There are also often places that have volcanoes.
Volcanoes will give off a special gas called sulfur,
And that sulfur will go into the water of the hot springs,
Making that water very healthy.
While Greg says it would be a fun way to see the northern lights if he were in those hot springs,
Tara says she also went to the Aurora Ice Museum.
This is a museum created from over a thousand tons of ice and snow.
Right, snow is that white powder that falls in the wintertime.
We’ll talk more about it later.
Now, it’s time for us to take a break.
Don’t go away, we’ll be right back.
Welcome back to the show, everyone.
Hearing about that ice museum was really interesting.
I’ve even heard some parts of the world have hotels made of ice.
That’s right! And this one in Alaska,
This ice museum has 1000 tons of ice and snow.
A ton is a measurement of weight—it’s very heavy!
Friends, let’s go back to our conversation now.
What else did you do?
I met some reindeer.
Where did you do that? At the Running Reindeer Ranch.
I learned all about reindeer and took lots of pictures with them.
Then we went for a fun walk in the forest through the snow.
Yes, everyone wore big boots and winter coats. Very fun!
I also went ice fishing on Tina Lake.
Wasn’t that pretty chilly?
It wasn’t bad. After we fished,
We enjoyed a delicious fish dinner.
Yum!
Well, Tara is always busy when she’s traveling,
So what else did she do in Alaska?
Well, she met some special animals.
She says that she met some reindeer. Reindeer are special deer.
They’re land animals, but they have horns.
Yes, they have horns that we call antlers.
Reindeer are famous for the Christmas story of Santa Claus.
They pull Santa’s sled and fly in the sky,
And there’s that famous song Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Well, Tara got to see reindeer at the Running Reindeer Ranch.
She learned all about them and took lots of pictures, of course.
And then she went on a fun walk in the forest.
Sonya, can you help us with this sentence?
Tara said: 然後我們到森林裡去走了一趟有趣的步行之旅。
Then we went for a fun walk in the forest through the snow.
The phrase go for a plus a noun means to go and do a specific activity.
Common examples include:
Go for a hike (去健行),
Go for a drive (開車去兜風),
Go for a swim (去游泳), and so on.
Let’s look at a few examples:
How about going for a hike along the river?
She went for a drive in the mountains.
They went for a swim in the lake.
Thank you, Sonya!
Now, friends, remember that in November,
It’s very cold in Alaska and there is a lot of snow.
Yes, so when you’re walking around,
You need to go through the snow. And friends,
This leads us to our Find It question:
What did everyone wear on the nature walk?
They wore big boots and winter coats.
A boot is a special kind of shoe you can wear when you go hiking,
And often it is waterproof, which means water won’t be able to get into these shoes.
Yeah, there are other kinds of boots that might be good for a rainy day or a snowy day.
Either way, they’ll keep you warm.
Tara also went ice fishing on Chena Lake. Now,
Ice fishing is special—you sit on the ice, make a hole, and fish for fish.
Yeah, that is pretty interesting. It’s amazing how the fish stay alive
Even in water that’s that cold, right?
Greg wants to ask if it was cold,
But he uses another word.
He uses the word chilly.
Wasn’t that pretty chilly?
If it’s chilly, it’s pretty cold.
Tara says, though, it wasn’t bad.
And it wasn’t bad is today’s calendar phrase.
It wasn’t bad.
It wasn’t bad means "it was okay" or "it wasn’t too bad."
For example, if someone asks you:
How was your trip?
You can say: It wasn’t bad.
Was the train crowded?
It wasn’t bad.
Was the hotel nice?
It wasn’t bad.
So, everything was good—not really exciting, but it wasn’t bad.
Well, good enough!
It wasn’t bad.
Well, after they finished,
Tara says they enjoyed a delicious fish dinner.
I wonder if it’s the fish they were fishing for, right?
It probably tastes extra delicious if you fish for that fish yourself.
Yum! Yum!
Well, sounds like a great Alaska experience! And friends,
We learned some great keywords today. Let’s review them together.
Here’s your first keyword: recent.
Recent means something that happened not too long ago.
Tell me about your recent trip.
Next, hot spring.
Hot spring is a natural place where hot water comes up from the ground.
She enjoyed sitting in the hot spring.
Snow is next.
Snow is the white powder that falls from the sky in winter.
Look at the snow on the mountains.
Boot.
Boots are special shoes that you wear when you go hiking in the snow.
Wear boots to walk in the snow.
And lastly, chilly.
Chilly means a little cold.
Wear a coat, it’s chilly outside.
Friends, those are today’s keywords. You’re doing a great job!
Now, it’s your turn.
Today’s words are: recent, hot springs, snow, boots, and chilly.
Now, it’s your turn to use them in a sentence.
First one:
He is putting his ___ on.
You’re right, he is putting his boots on.
Next:
They often go to ___ to relax.
Good job! They often go to hot springs to relax.
Next:
I heard about the ___ events.
Correct! I heard about the recent events.
Next:
It’s too ___ to swim today.
That’s right, it’s too chilly to swim today.
Last one:
He likes to hike in the ___.
Great answer! He likes to hike in the snow.
Friends, that’s all for today!
Come again next time for your turn.
Welcome to the program, Tara!
Thanks, Greg. Have you ever seen the northern lights?
No, but I’ve always wanted to. I saw them on my recent trip to Alaska.
It was amazing to watch the lights dance across the sky.
Where were you when you saw them?
I was relaxing in a hot spring at Chena Hot Springs near the city of Fairbanks.

I also went ice fishing on Chena Lake.
Wasn’t that pretty chilly?
It wasn’t bad. After we fished,
We enjoyed a delicious fish dinner.
Yum!
Ginger:
What do you know about the northern lights?
Ryan:
Hmm, they’re in the north.
Ginger:
Very funny! The northern lights are amazing to watch.
Ryan:
Now why is that?
Ginger:
They’re colorful,
and they dance across the sky.
Ryan:
Wow, have you ever seen them?
Ginger:
No, but I’ve always wanted to.
Ryan:
Then let’s go to Alaska!
Ginger:
Good idea!
We can watch the northern lights from a hot spring.
Ryan:
Whoa, how relaxing!
Ginger:
And there’s this ice museum with tons of ice and snow.
Ryan:
How cool! What else?
Ginger:
We can learn about reindeer and take pictures with them.
Ryan:
I love reindeer!
Ginger:
And we can go ice fishing.
But that’s pretty chilly.
Ryan:
I’m ready! Alaska, here we come!
Ginger:
Yes, someday.
Game Master (in a quiz format):
Hello and greetings!
I’m the Game Master, and you’re here for What’s the Answer?
Most of the United States is below Canada,
but one icy state is next to it—that’s the state of Alaska.
Today, we travel north and answer some chilly questions.
Will Taylor and Ryan find the right answers?
I’m sure they can!
Question 1:
Tell me if this is true or false:
Santa’s sled is pulled by horses.
Taylor:
Is it horses?
Well, horses do pull things, but…
Game Master:
This one is false! The sled is pulled by reindeer!
Yes, it is. Do any of you watching know all the names of Santa’s reindeer?
That’s a fun challenge!
Question 2:
Can you fill in the blank?
In Alaska,
You can sometimes look up and see the lights ___?
Taylor:
I think it’s city lights.
They’re probably not always on.
Game Master:
Maybe, but that’s not the answer we’re looking for.
What do you think, Ryan?
Ryan:
I think it’s the northern lights.
Game Master:
It is! Well done, Ryan!
Question 3:
What is a glacier?
A. A hot drink
B. A frozen sea
C. A large piece of moving ice
D. An animal that lives in areas with cold weather
Ryan:
The answer is C: a large piece of moving ice.
Game Master:
That’s right, Ryan! You won! Great job!
Game Master:
Well, that’s all for today!
We’ll see you next time on What’s the Answer?
Back to the Show:
Well, I may have never seen the northern lights,
But I’m thankful that I have gotten to visit some hot springs before.
Greg:
Right! And do you think you’d like to go to the Chena Hot Springs in Alaska one day with your family?
That sounds great!
Tara:
Maybe we could even go and see those reindeer!
I wonder if they can fly.
Greg:
Right! Then maybe you can sit on one—just kidding! Well, friends,
Thanks for joining us. We’ll see you again tomorrow right here on
