Celebration for Steve's life was held on 10/19 at Apple's headquarters. There was a live band on stage and crowd from all campuses gathered at the amphitheater. Not everyone got in, though. Maximum number of people allowed was strictly enforced. Two TV cameras were outside Infinite Loop 1 back entrance shooting at the central stage. I have yet to find out where the video went, most likely kept company confidential, not to be disclosed. No external personnel or media crew were allowed (thus the helicopter aerial shot, looks like early in the morning before the ceremony started. I just knew somebody will upload it in youtube and found it in 5 seconds). The mood wasn't that of a sad one, but instead somber, solemn, and calm. It ended in typical Apple style, with the rock band playing live music. It was very, very loud. Goodbye, Steve. It's been worthwhile, and it was good. You left behind a company worth $116,371,000,000 for us to upkeep, we're so freaking burdened, but you are free after all, so it is still good. Goodbye. All right, the helicopter missed the north side of the courtyard, so I am supplanting it here with some picture shots of my own, from my iPhone of course. Why's the article so short? Well that's because the article completed with its pictures and videos were created right on the iPhone, in the coach on my way back home, which is like, 40 minutes away. |
