約翰·查理斯·麥克德莫特（John Charles McDermott，生於1955年3月25日）是一位蘇格蘭裔加拿大男高音，擁有愛爾蘭血統^，[1]^[2]以演繹歌曲《Danny Boy》和《Loch Lomond》而聞名。麥克德莫特出生於蘇格蘭格拉斯哥，1965年隨家人移居加拿大多倫多的威洛代爾。他在一個音樂家庭長大，唯一一次正式的音樂訓練是1971年和1972年在安大略省多倫多的聖邁克爾合唱學校。

獲得了國際認可，所以他開始定期巡迴演出，作為個人表演而不是開場表演。他還出席了幾次特別活動，包括 1995 年在法國舉行的諾曼第登陸儀式和 1996 年的美國民主黨全國代表大會。他還多次出現在電視上，包括 1997 年 CBC 電視台音樂會特別節目的主持人，以及 2002 年在 PBS 播出的他自己的電視特別節目《約翰·麥克德莫特：值得記住的時刻》。他組建了愛爾蘭男高音，1998年在愛爾蘭都柏林舉辦了一場大型音樂會後，他們花了一些時間在美國巡迴演出，出現在電視上，並發行了一張金唱片。
